And My Music starts to play
I can Guarantee that love will find you…”
That lyric comes from the opening number for The Wedding Singer, a musical comedy inspired by the movie of the same name starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
The story tells of Robbie Hart, who makes a living serenading brides and grooms at their wedding receptions. When he himself gets left at the altar, he becomes morose and cynical about relationships not realizing that he has already met his soul mate.
The romantic comedy was released on Valentines Day 1998 and went on to gross $123 million.
