This Thursday, we're taking a long journey from the Rose Theatre to Ireland. Ok, we aren't really leaving Brampton but we're feeling pretty inspired by the epic journey of the Irish Celts
of days gone by. The National Dance Company of Ireland will be our tour guides on a beautiful journey through the Irish dance tradition accompanied by the sensual sound of the Bodhran (Irish drum) and the suave harp in a power house troupe that also includes three tenors and 22 dancers. We are talking about Rhythm of the Dance. In his February Odeum article, Harry Currie says the show is possibly even better than Riverdance! High praise and sure, somewhat subjective.
