Ron Sexsmith will be at the Rose on October 20 and we are really excited to present this incredible Canadian singer and songwriter to you (btw, Ron was shortlisted for the Polaris Prize 2011 and you can see a podcast of his performance at the event here: ). I'm sure many of you are already familiar with Ron but if you don't know his music, please check it out, you'll be in good company, some of his biggest fans are music legends including Paul McCartney, Elton John, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello... "Ron and his band played the Rio Theatre here in Vancouver, April 1. I met with Ron after the show, and chatted with him. He was affable, generous with his time, and very receptive to fans.
